Training & Apprenticeships
NSV have been operating a successful apprentice training scheme for the last 8 years recruiting and training school leavers’ year on year without interruption. Training combines ‘hands on’ training in the workshop and academic training in association with our local training providers Hull TEC, Hull College, HETA and Crownship. The apprentices are trained as multi-skilled HVAC Technicians learning all the skills required to assist in the manufacture of complete HVAC systems.
On completion of the apprenticeship, the engineers embark on advanced training schemes such as advanced PLC programming, advanced refrigeration, service, maintenance and commissioning. Once satisfactory experience has been attained all engineers are offered offshore survival training allowing them to work offshore, world wide.
