Stage 1, Logistics facility at Caulfield General Medical Centre incorporates a new Finishing Kitchen and Support Services, including Engineering, Biomedical Engineering as well as providing a location for central plant and Substation to support the future Redevelopment. The Finishing Kitchen caters for 3 meals per day for 550 patients. And is future proofed to provide an additional 600 meals per day when required.

The stage involves the refurbishment of part of the existing Hospital with a large extension to the North East and link bridge to the Logistics building.
